What Does Vitamin C Do?

Vitamin C for the face helps to reduce signs of aging by helping to stimulate the production of collagen. With continued use, fine lines and wrinkles appear reduced, for revitalised and glowing complexion." https://au.elemis.com/blog/products-ingredients/benefits-of-vitamin-c-for-skin/?" Vitamin C is probably the most valuable vitamin to the external body. This amasing vitamin is not only for cold and flu. It is the perfect antidote for any tired, dull and lackluster skin needing a pick-me-up. If you have stressed-out skin, aging skin or skin that needs a bit of brightening, this is the way to go.

Are There Ingredients You Should Avoid During Pregnancy?

There are quite a few "scientific" chemical ingredients that are present in any skincare products that you should avoid, but in natural skincare products, you are safe. So Graceful Lilly Products are safe.

What is the best treatment for acne?

Acne is caused by bacteria that can grow inside the pores of the skin when they become blocked. These bacteria can produce substances that damage the skin, leading to a build-up of dead skin cells and bacteria, which can then form a pimple or nodule in the skin." https://www.google.com/search?what+causes+acne+on+face&sca_esv=580628691&rlz=1C1ONGR_en-GBAU943AU943&sxsrf=AM9HkKm-Unfortunately, acne is a part of every teenager's nightmare. It affects around 95% of people. Especially during their teens. There is no way to stop this terrible condition.

The only way we can "put the brakes" on acne is through good skincare and diet. By this Graceful Lilly means eating fruit, drinking plenty of water, relaxing, no soft drink, sugar to a minimum and exercising.

If You're On A Budget, What Should You Spend Your Money On?

Water, fruits/vegetables and naturally derived skincare products. With Naturally derived skincare products you don't have to pay for the scientific research involved in making them. Whereas with naturally derived products, Mother Nature has already taken care of this long before you were born.

Do collagen-filled moisturisers Really Slow Down The aging process?

No. These moisturisers are a waste of time and money. The pores in your skin are way too small to allow the collagen to penetrate. There is actually medical proof to this end. "In order for collagen to do its job in our body, it has to be broken down into smaller peptides or amino acids, which then in turn can be absorbed. What this means is that collagen is a huge molecule, and it will sit on the surface of the skin, which cannot be taken in by the dermis." https://www.google.com/search?q=Skin+cant+absorb+collagen+filled+moisturisers+because&sca_esvIn the end, Graceful Lilly's advice to you is not to waste a small fortune on these useless products. Simply change your diet, drink and skincare products.

What skincare products should everyone use?

In the end, a daily skincare regime should be 1. Wash your face twice a day with a gentle soap 2. Exfoliate 3. Toner 4. Moisturise twice a day.

How often should I exfoliate?

This really does depend on the scrub you're using and how your skin reacts to it. For example, if you're using your coffee face/body scrub, we suggest to you only twice a week. But, if you using your Chocolate Scrub, three times per week might be allowable; Your chocolate scrub isn't as grainy.

Let your own skin be the judge.

What areas of my body should I be applying skincare products?

Primarily your face. This is the area that Graceful Lilly concentrates on. Your face. If you find a body lotion that can be applied to your whole body, please use it also on your arms, legs, etc. Applying your moisturiser to your whole body, will be a waste of money.

At what age should I begin using anti-aging products and procedures?

It's never too early or too late to use your skincare products! I started when I was 17, and I don't think I'll ever stop! I just wish these products were around when I was a boy.

Why do you recommend coffee and chocolate face/body scrubs?

Coffee is a natural cleansing agent. When combined with the coffee grains that have been blended into a fine powder, it makes an unbeatable body/face scrub. We also utilise Epsom Salts. The Epsom Salts are excellent for the muscles. These muscle relaxing salt leaves your feeling great. Some people are born chocoholics. That is they can't live without this amasing aphrodisiac. The ground chocolate (cocoa) beans are also excellent for the skin. Because this one does not have the same granules that the coffee scrub has, we mix in with it a generous helping of desiccated coconut and almond meal.

Can I use your products on sensitive skin?

Of course! The maker of these products has sensitive skin himself. So, he'd never make or sell anything that can't be used on sensitive skin. Graceful Lilly doesn't believe in animal testing. So, he's the guinea pig for all products.

Why so much coconut oil and shea butter?

Coconut butter and Shea Butter are the two most useful, natural products on the market today. Coconut Oil protects against damaging microorganisms. It is highly moisturising, it can help to treat acne, it can support healing, it can help to reduce Inflammation, and coconut oil contributes to a More Even Skin Tone. Benefits of Shea Butter on skin "It's extremely rich in fatty acids, antioxidants, and vitamins, which works well to improve tone, soften and plump skin, and even slow the breakdown of collagen," says Morgan Rackley, celebrity esthetician and owner of Luminous Skin Atlanta.

Why the Vitamin E in your moisturiser?

Vit E is one of the 3 most vital oils for the skin. Accordingly, it's included in your daily moisturiser. Vitamin E is considered to be the most effective anti-inflammatory natural property of your skin. "Vitamin E is a fat-soluble vitamin that acts as an antioxidant, helping protect cells from damage throughout your body. It’s found in our sebum (skin oil), which creates a natural barrier to keep moisture in your skin. So oilier skin surfaces, like the face, contain greater amounts of vitamin E. And since people with oily skin have more sebum, they also have more vitamin E on their skin." https://health.clevelandclinic.org/vitamin-e-for-skin-health/

Are your coffee grains ground?

Yes, of course. We carefully chose the coffee beans as they are the softest in the market. We carefully ground every gram of them until they are very close to a powder form.

These coffee grains are specifically ground to a powder format because you told us that you have very sensitive skin. These coffee grains are perfect for getting rid of the lumpy skin. The dead skin that prevents you from having the smooth skin that you want and need.

The coffee beans are fine and soft.

What do scrubs do for body and face?

A body and face scrub are very good at removing the dead skin. Dead skin is what prevents us from feeling smooth and moisturisers from being absorbed by our dry skin.

Graceful Lilly finds it most useful to use a natural scrub. These are a lot less likely to give us any adverse reaction than any scientifically produced one.

Graceful Lilly produces a coffee and chocolate scrub. Please send in for a free sample if you're unsure.
