What is the Best scrub to exfoliate my skin?
Skin types and exfoliation processes vary from person to person.
Regardless of what skin type you have, be it dry, normal or oily the best way to exfoliate, is via natural products. At Graceful Lilly Body Scrubs, we only use natural resources. Products such as highly milled coffee grains or gentle almond meal or desiccated coconut.
The best way we have found so far, especially if you have sensitive skin, is to lightly press the scrub into your skin. If you press too firmly, you may burst blood vessels. Rub using circular motions. This motion will get the collagen moving (collagen production decreases after the age of 30) and blood circulating.

The best scrub to exfoliate my skin is Coffee and Chocolate Scrubs. As these exfoliants/scrubs contain no unnatural, abrasive chemicals/exfoliants.
So, the question remains. What is the Best scrub to exfoliate my skin? “Body scrubs are pretty personal—what works for one person might not work for another. For folks with body acne, finding an exfoliant with salicylic acid is key, says Dr. Elbuluk. For people with keratosis pilaris, AHAs like glycolic and lactic acids are good chemical exfoliants that help to break down bumps. Physical exfoliants (those that feel sandy and scrubby versus smooth and creamy) are best for people with oily and combination skin that won’t dry out too easily” https://www.self.com/gallery/best-body-scrubs
If the coffee scrub seems to feel a bit too dry/hard, it’s simply a sign that the coconut oil has naturally tightened. If this happens, simply stick it in the microwave for 30 seconds. Voila!!
The chocolate face and body scrub should be used within 3 weeks of opening the tub. This is to guard against free radicals. When not in use, keep the chocolate one in the fridge. When you get in the shower, or bath, wet your whole body with hot water. Turn off the taps. Dig your fingers into the scrub and apply it in circular motions.
Graceful Lilly finds it imperative to leave the scrubs on your tired skin for as long as possible. This will allow the coconut oil and the Epsom salts to do their stuff. When you leave the shower or bath, please don’t leave the scrub lying around. There won’t be any when you return! Once you’ve exfoliated your skin, the moisturiser will be much more easily absorbed by your fresh, new, soft skin.
If you have some type of dermatitis, please seek medical advice before applying. If you would like to experiment yourself, apply a small amount to your underarm pit. This is where the sensitive skin lives.
